CASEY CRAWFORD Park Board Candidate
Casey Crawford is seeking re-election as Park Board Commissioner in the October municipal election.
A lifelong resident of Greater Vancouver, prior to being elected in 2014, Casey Crawford was an active and dedicated community volunteer serving on the boards of numerous community organizations including Stroke Recovery Association of BC, Little Mountain Baseball, Canadian Diabetes Association, UBC’s Crane Library for vision impaired. In addition he served a term as chair on the Quilchena Elementary School Parent Advisory Council.
Professionally, Casey has worked in retail, telecommunications, and media and publishing. Most recently, he worked as a sales and marketing project manager with a local Vancouver media firm.
Casey is committed to engaged-consultation with the community; a strong, independent Park Board; and managing the Park Board budget responsibly for all the residents of Vancouver.
With two young sons active in Vancouver field and water sports, Casey spends his free time with his family attending soccer, baseball and field hockey games or viewing the occasional regatta off English Bay. Casey is also a regular road cyclist training several times each week around the Lower Mainland.
A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Casey lives in Vancouver’s Oakridge neighbourhood with his wife and sons.
