NPA Vancouver members nominate Ken Sim to be their mayoral candidate for the October 2018 municipal election

June 3, 2018, Vancouver, B.C. – NPA Vancouver members have nominated Ken Sim to be their mayoral candidate for the upcoming municipal election, which will be held on October 20, 2018. The nomination meeting took place today at the Hellenic Centre in Vancouver. A total of 1,960 ballots were cast.

NPA President Gregory Baker announced the results of today’s voting shortly after 10:00 PM. The results were reported to Baker by Returning Officer, Stacy Robertson. The nomination meeting was overseen by neutral outside observers from Computershare Ltd., a global provider of meeting and tabulation services.

The final voting results were:

  1. Ken Sim: 977 Votes
  2. John Coupar: 602 votes
  3. Glen Chernen: 379 votes

There were 2 spoiled ballots.
